Although it is technically Mother’s Day tomorrow, we are quite keen to see you make it a whole weekend of spoiling mum.

Here are some ideas of things to do this weekend with mum.

If  your mum loves op-shopping then why not take her along to the Tatura Community House’s annual Monster Farm and garage sale.

The event will be held today from 8 am at Tatura Community House, 12–16 Casey St, Tatura and all across Tatura and district.

The event starts with a bacon and egg sandwich at Tatura Community House where you can buy a $2 map and then head off  on a trail of  sales around Tatura and district.

Open from 9 am to 3 pm at 110–120 Benalla Rd, Shepparton, with gift options from local traders and specialty stores, you are sure tofi nd something to suit mum.

If  you enjoyed the Shepparton Art Museum Cornucopia  exhibition, then you will be delighted to know that the art collective A Centre for Everything will be conducting a ‘performative quiz’ at Lutfiyes Shish Kebab tonight.

Participants will enjoy Albanian cuisine, engage in conversations about art and cultural customs, and take part in a quiz about SAM, culinary skills and eastern European geography.

Included in the night will be stories gathered from local and international conversations, artworks and customs.

The event runs from 5 pm to 8 pm at Lutfiyes Shish Kebab, 338 Wyndham St, Shepparton.

Cost is $15.

 The Mother’s Day Classic will be held tomorrow at Victoria Park Lake from 8 am to 11 am.

Those keen to participate can choose from an 8 km or 4 km run, or a 4 km walk.

Do not worry if  you have not registered for the event, you can do so tomorrow, or you can still register through victoria/shepparton/
