Art appreciators have the chance to admire the region’s best works at this weekend’s Tatura Rotary and Community Art Show

A diverse selection of paintings, drawings, photography, sculptures and ceramics will line the walls of Victory Hall for the four-day event, set to be bigger and better than ever before.

Starting with a gala opening night on Friday, the show continues across the weekend, before closing the doors on Monday afternoon.

Special guest Michael Lapina from Australian Opera will attend the gala opening, providing entertainment while guests are treated to home-made canapes and art displays.

Multiple people’s choice award recipient Rhonda Willoughby will feature at the event with many detailed paintings sure to capture the attention of onlookers.

Tatura Uniting Choir will perform across the weekend and a light lunch and beverages are available for those waiting to sit and soak in the artistic atmosphere.

Rotary and Community Art Show is at Victory Hall, Tatura. The event opens on Friday from 7pm, continuing Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm and Monday from 10am to 4pm. Entry cost is $5 with no charge for children under 16.
