Can you give a pet a home?

By Shepparton News

Penny and Abby are up for adoption at the Shepparton Animal Shelter and could be yours for $320 each.

This adoption price includes their desexing, vaccinations, Greater Shepparton City Council registration, vet check and flea and worm treatment.

Penny is a fun-loving young girl who is known for her energetic nature.

She is a medium-sized whippet cross, with mostly white fur with some black patches on her ears and face.

Penny is only eight months old and is known as a happy-go-lucky dog.

Shelter attendants said she was quick on her feet and due to this she would be best suited to an active family.

Penny is looking for her forever home, preferably with a family who can give her plenty of love and attention.

She would prefer a home where she can run around, ensuring she is able to burn off some energy in the fresh air.

Abby is an 18-month-old Staffordshire terrier/bull Arab cross.

She is small, with mostly brown and black fur and distinctive white markings on her face.

Abby is an inquisitive dog for her young age, and she loves to wander around investigating the sights around her. She would require some training, but she is willing and eager to learn and is known to be a good listener.

Shelter attendants said once she was properly trained, Abby would make the perfect dog for someone looking for a companion.

While Abby is eagerly looking for her forever home, her one wish is that it does not involve a home with cats.
