The promoter is McPherson Newspapers Pty Ltd (ABN 89 004 552 794) of 7940 Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla VIC 3632 (“Promoter”), trading as Shepparton News.
Entry into the competition will be by Valid Entry, accepted between 01 April 2019 and 23 September 2019 (“Promotional Period”).
Instructions on how to enter and prize information forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the competition is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry will be via electronic entry form, available via the Promoter’s website (sheppnews.com.au) or through a hard copy, available in the Shepparton News. An entry will be deemed to be a Valid Entry where all mandatory fields (marked as such) are completed and the form is submitted to the Promoter.
Entry requires that an individual correctly identifies the position of a football or netball, in a digitally altered photograph (presented to the entrant with a grid of possible “ball locations”, from which to choose the correct location.
The winner will be drawn at random from a pool of entrants who successful select the correct location of the position of a ball in the image provided. All entrants who correctly identify the location will have an equal chance of winning the Prize.
Any incomplete entry forms will be deemed to be invalid, and will not be considered as a part of the competition.
Only one entry per individual is accepted into the regular weekly draw.
The Prize is a weekly voucher redeemable for goods and services (without restriction), valued at $100.00 (“Prize”), provided by Still Shop Shepparton of 215 Numurkah Rd Shepparton VIC 3630 (“Stihl”).
Entries will be judged by a representative of the Promoter at 12:00PM each Friday (within the Promotional Period), and the winner’s name will be published online at the Promoter’s public website, social media page (and pages related to the Promoter) and / or within the print edition of Shepparton News within 5 days of each weekly drawing of the Prize.
The Prize is to be redeemed and claimed in person at Stihl at the address stated above – unless otherwise agreed to between the winner and Stihl. The Promoter will play no part in the delivery of the Prize.
The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize. Transport to and from and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner.
The Promoter does not provide guarantee or warranty of any sort in relation to the Prize – all claims relating to warranty after the Prize is awarded are between the winner and Stihl.
Entry is open to Victorian residents aged eighteen years or over only – excluding any employee or party related to either the Promoter or Stihl.
Only the winner will be notified by email or phone and must respond within 48 hours or the prize may be re-allocated at the Promoter's discretion. The winner’s details will be provided to Stihl, who will arrange for the winner to collect the Prize from a nominated location (a Stihl location that may require travel from the winner’s normal residence).
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter reserves the right to, at any time, verify an entry or entrant and disqualify an entrant the Promoter has reason to believe has submitted an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
All entries in the competition become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information from entrants to conduct the competition and may, in the course of normal business activity, disclose the personal information to third parties as required (including Stihl).
Entry in this competition is conditional on provision of the personal information requested. Entries may be entered into a database and the Promoter or related entities (including Stihl) may use any personal information provided for future promotional / marketing activity.
The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the competition without notice.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss (including loss of opportunity) or damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or inconsequential loss) or personal injury in relation to this competition or the use of, or participation in, the prize.
