The backdrop of this vibrant glamping tent may be ever-changing, but it’s her colourful character that creates a welcoming space.
It was on a girls’ trip that friends, often mistaken for sisters, Zowie Crump and Meg O’Sullivan dreamt up Cosy Camping.
“We went to Mornington and stayed in one down there and we thought this would work in Echuca-Moama,” Zowie said.
So they bought a Lotus Belle tent, named it Maggie Joan after their grandmothers, and decked it out with their creative flare.
The eclectic styling is a fitting reflection of Zowie’s and Meg’s bright and bubbly personalities.
Injecting nostalgic patterns, kooky bunting, quirky crockery, old-fashioned board games, a vintage fridge and a kitsch rainbow colour palette, Maggie Joan is a fun departure from everyday life.
While her bold interior is an intrinsic part of her character, the view is forever changing.
Maggie Joan is a traveller. From private property to the recommended Coco Bend Caravan Park in Moama, she can be set up anywhere.
“A lot of people say they like going camping but don’t like the set-up,” Zowie said.
“It’s comfortable, warm and it’s more than sleeping in a tent on a blow-up mattress.
“We set it all up and then come back and pack it up.”
Glamping in Maggie Joan is the best of both worlds.
