Cap the American bulldog cross looking for new home

By Liz Mellino

Do not let Cap's big exterior fool you, he is known as a cuddly teddy bear and is looking for a new home.

Cap is living at the Shepparton Animal Shelter, waiting patiently for a loving family to adopt him.

Cap is a seven-year-old American bulldog cross.

He is white and brindle in colour, with distinct markings on his ear and around his mouth.

Despite weighing 45kg, Cap is described by shelter attendants as an "absolute sweetheart", who is super affectionate and well-mannered.

Cap is known for being calm and easy-going, and enjoys spending his days relaxing and having a nap or two.

Given his large size he would be best suited to a family with large-dog breed experience.

While he cannot wait to meet his new family, his only request is that they do not have any cats.

Cap can be yours for $330. This price includes his registration, vaccination, microchipping, de-sexing and veterinary health check.

To find out more about Cap, phone the Shepparton Animal Shelter on 5832 9700. The shelter, at 125 Wanganui Rd, Shepparton, is open weekdays from 8.15 am to 4.30 pm.

Council’s Pet Exchange Register source number is BR101093. Domestic Animal Business permit number: 19. Cap's microchip number is 943094320394400.
